Thus, according to the Junta de Andalucía indicates on its official website:

‘’The possession of any companion animal defined as potentially dangerous in article 2 of Decree 42/2008, of February 12, which regulates the possession of potentially dangerous animals in the Autonomous Community of Andalucia, will require prior obtaining of an administrative license, which will be granted by the City Council of the municipality of residence of the person requesting it.

Potentially dangerous animals are those that, belonging to the wild fauna, are used as companion animals and, regardless of their aggressiveness, fall into species or breeds that have the ability to endanger the life or physical integrity of people , other animals or causing significant damage to property. ’’
